“I was born and raised in Walla Walla, WA. One of my great treasures as a child was a Brownie with which I recorded my younger brother “falling out of a tree”, my small ceramic horses proudly standing on my bureau, and the back of my Great Aunt Madeline’s head (she was visiting from California) as we drove around the Walla Walla area.

After marriage and while raising 4 children, I lived in San Jose for 35 years before moving back to Walla Walla in 2001. After working six more years I retired. I’m loving the beauty of the wheat fields, rustic barns, Columbia River, the Blue Mountains, and unique places like the John Day Painted Hills.

I began the digital camera age with a point and shoot Nikon which I dropped and broke in front of Bath Abbey in England in 2003. My present main camera is a Rebel XTi with a 17-85mm lens, a 70-300mm lens, and 500D macro. Soon I’ll also have a 18-270mm lens.” Recently I added a compact point and shoot Panasonic DMC-TZ5 which takes excellent pictures. It has 9.2 mp and 10X zoom.
